Our Mission

CCBM is dedicated to providing the highest ideals of sportsmanship, fair play, honest competition, conservation, and education of our youth in the pursuit of bass fishing. We will accomplish this by adhering to the rules of our parent organization, the The Bass Federation. We will also practice respect and understanding for all of our members at all times. We will share our fishing experiences openly with all fellow CCBM members in order to create an atmosphere of learning and to further the skills and knowledge of all our members.

Our History

CCBM was founded in June 2004 by a small group of bass fishermen who recognized the need for a club in Chester County.

CCBM consists of 14 Members. CCBM belongs to The Pennsylvania Bass Federation, Inc., the oldest and largest state wide organization of bass fisher persons in PA, and to TBF Bass Federation, a national organization of clubs.

Membership

To join, come to a club meeting and shoot the breeze! We are first and foremost about fun and learning about bass fishing, so our meetings are lively and you will get to know us!  

• Meetings are held the third Thursday of each month, 7pm, at John's Pizza in Frazer, PA.
• John's Pizza is east of US RT 202 on business US 30.  From the 202 exit ramp you travel east past Home Depot, through the light, and look for it on the right just up the hill.

CCBM belongs to The Pennsylvania Bass Federation, Inc., the oldest and largest state wide organization of bass fisher persons in PA, and to TBF Bass Federation, a national organization of clubs.  Membership gives you privileges to fish in district, state and team events and to qualify for the classic at the end of each year.  The top 12 in the classic compete the next year in a TBF divisional tournament and from there if you do well you can fish your way to the FLW championship.  For that reason, membership in TBF and FLW are also required of all members.

Club Membership Fees Breakout

• $25 Club fee
• $25 New members initiation fee (one time only)
• $40 PA Bass fees:  allows you to fish district/state tournaments to qualify for the state classic.  Part of the road to the FLW championship.
• $15 TBF fee covers 3rd party insurance plus money towards youth and conservation efforts, also TBF tournaments once you get above the PA state level.
• $35 FLW Fishing Membership fee

Total fees for 1st year:   $140 payable to CCBM

Subsequent years:  $115 payable to CCBM

CCBM Tournament fees: $25 per day (non-members or late entries are $30)

PA tournaments have separate boater/rider prize pools; entry fees are:
PA Mr Bass tournament fees:  $200 boater, $100 rider   (2 day tournament)
PA District tournament fees:  $80 boater, $40 rider
PA Classic fees:  $150 boater or rider  (2 day tournament, fishing for spot on Divisional Team)

Boaters are required to carry a minimum of $300,000 BOATERS LIABILITY INSURANCE to participate in a CCBM event or a PA state event.
