Title: Court case over fishing navigable waters in Louisiana

They don't mention who, but I wonder if BASS is also supporting this petition.  I don't get the Bass Times any more but they were heavily into these things.

It's a shame they can't even get along enough to work together when it's this important.

I'll bet you $10 that this whole issue is due to the private developers who went in and basically stole the properties destroyed by the hurricanes.  They are building private resorts on this land and don't want anglers to ruin the seclusion that wealthy buyers would demand!  For shame!

Nah, this has been going on for years.  Has to do with pantation owners, hunting club owners and others who own vast tracts of land and just want it to be "private".  Just because you own land around a river doesn't mean you own the river.

Never mind about the $10 you owe me.   :laugh:
