10 Days till Spring Training

World Champion Philadelphia Phillies pitchers and Catchers  report to spring training Feb. 13.

The Mets once again won the World Championship offseason player signing trophy by signing Relievers K. Rodriguez and  JJ Putz.
Believing that these 2 moves alone puts them over the top for  2009 they took an exrta day off and will report Feb 14.
This marks the 2nd year in a row the Mets have won the coveted offseason award.  Last years signing of Johan Santana won them the 2007 Trophy also.
