Finally arrived today.  Wish I would have had it last week for the Potomac trip.  My first custom rod, and I had it built to pair with a Pflueger Patriarch XT reel.

It's built on a Gary Loomis North Fork Composite IM series blank.  7'0" MH/fast action.

Titanium frame micro guides, my first micro guide rod.  Can't wait to fish with it.

Even has my "name" on it.

Built by Walker Nelson of Texas.

Overall a very light rod and has excellent balance when paired with the Patriarch XT.

It pays to be an optimist.  Even if you are wrong, you are happy about it.

I had the second lunker at the Potomac on Saturday  ::) that means as much as nothing.
Yeah, I've been catching, not so much on my mind now-a-days, life is much more relaxed. ;D
And my most expensive, fishing related wall hanging to date would be the white marlin in the family rooom - BY FAR!  ;D ;D

Gheezzz Dave, you're getting as bad as Doc in being able to remember your own previous thoughts and statements.
I can't hang MY boat on the wall, maybe an alum. boat would work, but not my 'toon.  ??? ;D ;D

you just need really big molly bolts, and a heavier wall.
