Title: Polarized Fishing Sunglasses Reco's
Post by: dan61psu on April 04, 2008, 11:39:45 PM
I am in the market for my wedding gift from my bride to be...and figured I have her get me a much needed pair of nice fishing/everyday wear sunglasses.

I have been looking mainly at the Oakley lineup, specifically their Fishing-specific lenses that run in the shallow-blue tint...I like the style of Oakley's line-up, but before I bought I wanted to check around and see if anyone had any strong opinions regarding other brands/styles...

Here's the set I am looking at:  http://oakley.com/pd/4869

Any opinions?

If you want glasses specifically for fishing, a dark amber lens, grey, or green tint are the best ones, different tints for different conditions.

Actually, a test was done and the best lens for seeing the most underwater was rose colored. No kidding...

I ended up getting the Oakley Half Jacket XLJs...the lens is an amber/gold iridium, and they do a damn fine job, especially on overcast and cloudy days
