Title: Great service from Lowrance.
Post by: bassboogieman on August 12, 2008, 01:08:11 PM
I burnt up my X-135 at Octorara and sent it back to Lowrance last Monday.  Lowrance confirmed the unit was fried, and sent me a new one which arrived today.   Eight day turn-around, makes me happy  Even though the unit was out of warranty and cost me $100.00, getting a new unit rather than waiting additional days to have a unit repaired is pretty darn good.  Thanks Lowrance!!

Did you deal with Linda Colt ?  She is top notch, all companies should have a customer service rep as good as her.

I didn't go through Linda, although I have heard of her wonderful asssistance from those on the BBC (and here too ).  I went through the regular process of going on line, getting a return authorization number, boxed it up and off to the U. S. Post Office.  I think it's fantastic, and the real testament to the quality of Lowrance's customer service, that their regular process works smoothly and in a reasonalbe time frame.
