Big sales, how can anyone resist? My wife is going shopping tomorrow and me - I'm being left alone with nothing scheduled to do. How often do you think that happens? So I'm not telling anyone that as soon as she exits the driveway - I'm on my way to Bass Pro Shops and swinging northward to visit Cabela's while I'm out. Not a much better way to spend a day. :rolleyes:

Not much, place was crowded. Did get myself a Shimano Castaic reel, some P-line braid, rod socks, a medium weight jacket, some little odds & ends. I was disappointed they evidently don't carry a L/C popper I was looking for in the store, guess I'll have to order those on-line. It's my son-in-law's birthday next week and he went along, so he got a BPS Extreme spinning rod and a Pflueger President reel to go with it. He bought me lunch, but I think he still made out in the bargain. :grin:
