Title: Question about the 6/06/09 BBC tourney
Post by: Wishing2BFishing on December 03, 2008, 07:40:27 PM
Is this a closed tournament or are we permitted to bring a guest.  If so, can the guest fish from my boat?

Also, what sticker do I need for the Northeast (the one that permits the boater and rider to fish without purchasing a Maryland license)?

This is a fun tournament for BBC members and guests, no entry fees for the tournament because there is no prize money, just a bunch of guys  together fishing,  having fun,  and dinner afterwards......any fees will be to pay for the dinner and trophy for the winner.

One person on the boat needs to be a member of Bass Boat Central ( BBC ) to fish the TX.

You may bring anyone you like as a guest.
You can find all info here :

There will be a fee to pay for the trophies and the after tournament BBQ at the Town park.  Everyone in the tx will pay the fee. Price is not set yet, still getting prices on the catered BBQ.  Most likely in the + - $ 20.00 a head range .

You must register on the BBC board to be eligible to fish.

You must be registered and paid by May 23rd, 2009 so we know how many will be attending to order food, etc.

So far we have over 30 sponsors donating a lot of great giveaway items.

Custom Sublimated Pro Jersey with your graphics,  Custom made rod racks,  Hamby's boat bumper , ton of tackle,  Bass boat saver.   All the sponsors and websites are listed on the Maryland rally forum.

As of today, 30 people are registered to fish already.

License online from Maryland :
Consolidated Bay Sport Boat License allows everyone on board a vessel used for pleasure to recreationally fish in the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries in lieu of individual licenses. A special complimentary Chesapeake Bay sport fishing license, which includes recreational crabbing, will be issued to the boat owner purchasing this license.
$50.00 for residents and nonresidents

Should have enough for everyone that fishes to take something home
Also working with Mike Iaconelli to have some items from him donated for a raffle to go to a charity.
