The Chicago Bears pulled the big upset Thursday afternoon by acquiring Denver Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler.
To acquire Cutler, the Bears had to give up quarterback Kyle Orton and first-round picks in 2009 and 2010, along with a third-round pick in 2009.
Denver had to give back had to give back a fifth-round pick in 2009.
wow, the broncos won big time on this trade. i really dont think there is any player that is worth 2 firsts, a third, and a starter. the bears got better at QB, but they have holes that they still need filled.

A young All Pro, NFL proven Franchise QB with a gun will always bring 2 number 1's. The hardest position in all of Pro Sports to Draft is a Franchise type QB.
Look at how many QB's get drafted and are out of the league in a few years...Look at the McNabb draft, how many QB's were taken in the first round, 5 of the first 12 picks were QB's....only one really made it, McNabb......Culpepper only survived in Minnesota cause He had Moss and Chris Carter to throw too, all the others were out of the NFL in a few years......

What? You don't think John Elway or Brett Farve or Joe Montana or Roger Staubach or Dan Marino were worth 2 first round picks? And especially with the way Eagles picks fade into oblivion? You're out of your ever lovin', noodle!
I'm not saying Cutler is all that, yet. It takes years to find out. We know McNabb is not that kind of leader. Again, he's not bad, he's just not great. And Reid treats him as if he is great. He's undependable in the clutch.
I have an idea that might win the Eagles an extra game or two this year.

Jay Cutler currently leads the NFL in INTs, and 22nd in QB rating.

He also plays on a team with no offensive line and Devin Hester as his leading receiver. Hester makes Todd Pinkston look like Jerry Rice.
