I have been making, and giving away baits to youth fishing clubs and kids in general and while I was fishing again today I had an idea. As I was getting ready to leave I watched as another fisherman took a handful of used Senkos out of his boat and tossed them into the trash. If you send my your broken and no longer fishable senko baits I will remelt and remold them into Senko-type baits again and give them away to kids and youth fishing clubs. If you are interested in helping out with this project drop me an email at irv@docirvcustombaits.com or im me. If you know of a fishing youngster or group who could use some of these let me know and if I get enough of a response I will be glad to send them out. As long as it does not get too costly for shipping cost I will be gald to pay for the shipping..
.
doc,
do they have to be senkos, or can you use other old soft plastics too?
Just senko an senko type baits with salt at this time.
do you mean they have to be yamamoto plastics or just stick bait shapes? i barely use yamamoto, but use alot of yum, gambler, berkley...those help?
Using those Irvco imitations won't do...
Gotta use the original Irvcos...

Hmmm, I tried to be clear but let me give it another shot. Any brand bait that is like a senko or a senko imitation or senko-type with salt. Thanks.
got it. i wasnt sure if different brands of plastics didnt melt down well and re-mold properly and thus would be useless to you.
the only stuff that won't melt down right is the 3x stuff by strike king, or I think they call it something else now. The stuff that stretches and doesn't break.
Actually, I could use any type of used plastic and I will add the salt and softener to it. So if you can help out with this let me know. Thanks
