out right now in a catfish tourney. Got 10 total, 2 monsters, caught about 7 in 45 min. More to come after weigh in at 7am

morning guys :grin: . well, ended up finishing 2nd with a 29" channel. lost to a 30" channel. caught 15 fish between the 2 of us (fished with cory, the guy i fish marsh creek with) 14 channels and 1 eel. new rule, eels stay OUTSIDE the boat. thank god we were fishing off of his jon boat, because id hate to try and clean eel slime out of my carpet. over half of the catties we caught were over 24", smallest was probably 18" but that one was FAT. best day ive ever had catfishing.
the tourney ran from 6pm-6am, with "measure-in" at 6:30-7:30.
my next goal, win a bass tourney and a catfish tourney in the same day :grin:

90 for second, only 27 people in it, they said they usually have around 35, but i guess the threat of rain scarred some away. that was the last one of the year, but il be fishing some next year. and im serious about fishing 2 tourneys on the same day, i might have to sleep all of sunday though :grin:
Thats what tourneys are all about, The Moola! nice check for doing some catfishing fitch. Call me next time for that. It sounds pretty fun. You are having a good year my man. keep it up.
