Lee to Seattle........prospects to Toronto and Halladay to Phils.
They know they cannot sign Lee after next season so He may go .
I love lee, but halladay will be cheaper and I as good If not better. Im
hoping we don't give up any of the top three prospects in this. If we do I want someone in return, ala Ben Fransico.
Well Drabek is gone but they picked up some other prospects. I think they just didn't want to spend the money on Lee. I'm not sure he wouldn't have been better, he's younger. But the Phils don't want to sign pitchers to more than 3 year deals and Lee wants 5 minimum. Can't really blame them because if the pitcher blows out his arm in year 1, you're stuck longer.
It would have been nice having both of them around though, wouldn't it?
