This really cheapens the award in my opinion. Vick has sucked a lot of undeserved sympathy from fans. Just shows that Football players really are out of touch with reality.
With that said, the fact that he gets honored because he's lived his life like a normal upstanding citizen despite what he faces day to day because of his past is not worthy of being honored.
Living an honorable life from day 1 is worthy of being honored.
No one else on the team has those qualities ?
