Due to high heat in the evening and high water temperatures, we decided to have a 1 fish limit tournament to help reduce mortality. Bass have trouble with respiration above 85 degree water temperature. We are very happy to report there were no fatalities. No fish died either.

We had one dissatisfied customer who didn't want to be bothered trying to catch only one fish. Most were very supportive of our efforts, and we thank you. We will try to keep these to a minimum but we like the results.

Going forward if the water temperature is above 85 degrees at launch we will reduce the tournament creel to 1 fish to protect the fishery. If it is at 85 degrees or below we will keep the creel at 3 fish.
