Cabela's Christiana Mall
To honor Delaware State Police Corporal Stephen Ballard who was killed in the line of duty this past week, Cabela's at the Christiana Mall will have a banner signing starting on Thursday May 4th and will run through Sunday May 7th so the community can send message, give their condolences and show their support for Corporal Ballard's family and fellow officers.
We will also have a fundraising cookout on Sunday May 7th starting at 10:00AM with all of the proceeds going to the fund set up in Cpl Ballard's name. We will have competition BBQ cookers from across the state here that are donating their time and food to this event.
We will have a short ceremony to honor Trooper Ballard @10:30 with a few remarks and the playing of the national anthem and taps.
