2018 Baseball Hall of Fame Ballot

Players can only stay on the ballot for 10 years or until they receive less than 5 percent of the vote.  Once they fail to get 5 % in any year they are removed from the ballot.

75 percent of the vote is needed to be elected.

There are a few notable holdovers to watch. Edgar Martinez and Fred McGriff are on their last year on the ballot

Vlad will definitely get in this year after just missing last year. Of the new guys Chipper Jones and Thome are probably the only sure things, Scott Rolen is a boater line guy but was not a nice guy with the media so will probably never get in.
