Sorry I missed the meeting last night. I caught 3 snakeheads while bass fishing yesterday so I hosted a neighborhood fish fry. Everyone agreed it was one of the best tasting fish they had ever eaten. I have changed the name to "Chickenfish", it sounds much more delicious. The 3 snakeheads were 30", 32", and 33". As big around as a football. I've caught so many this year it's getting scary. Remember, YOU GOT TO EAT 'EM TO BEAT 'EM!! They are very easy to filet, no bones. A pellet gun between the eyes helps. Here's a recipe that is great: cut the filets into strips about an inch wide. Roll in flour. Then dunk in a batter of Bisquick, egg, a beer and a sprinkle of Old Bay. Fry in a 1/4" of cooking oil. Tartar sauce is a bonus. Bon Appetit!!
