13-15: 48th East Coast Commercial Fisherman's & Aquaculture Trade Exposition at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, MD. $15 a day, $25 for two days, $30 for three days.
14: First Annual Fishing & Outdoor Expo and Flea Market at the North Beach Volunteer Fire Department in North Beach, MD. 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Parking at the firehouse and Kellam's Field (shuttle provided). $5 entry for adults, kids 12 and under are free. Inshore/offshore tackle vendors, charter captains, boating and fishing supplies, marine artists, crabbing supplies and vendors, rod and reel vendors and repairs, used supplies, boat vendors and marine techs, custom rod builders, and more.
20-22: The Chesapeake Bay Boat Show at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, MD (see below for a sneak peek).
20-22: The Richmond Fishing Expo held at Meadow Event Park in in Doswell, Virginia will feature a large array of fishing tackle combined with some of the finest professional anglers around. Friday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission: Adults $9, Seniors 60+ & Military $8, Jr. Anglers (6-12) $5, Children 5 & under FREE.
28: Tri-State Marine's Annual 'Early Spring' Open House at Tri-State Marine in Deale, MD. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
28-29: Kent Island Fisherman's 12th Annual Fishing Flea Market at the Kent Island American Legion Post #278 in Stevensville, MD. 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission costs $4 (ages 16 and under are free). 11-12: Essex Middle River Fishing Club Annual Flea Market at the Rosedale Volunteer Fire Company (8037 Philadelphia Rd. Rosedale, MD, 21237). 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days. Food and refreshments. $5 admission, under 13 are free. For more info, call Frank at (410) 686-2348.
18: Maryland Fly Fishing and Collectible Tackle Show at West Village Commons in Towson, MD. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $5 for ages 10-16, and free for children nine and under.
SPOTLIGHT ON THE CHESAPEAKE BAY BOAT SHOW
The Chesapeake Bay Boat Show presented by the Marine Trades Association of Baltimore County once again returns to the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, MD, January 20-22. Show times are Friday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission tickets cost $10 (ages 13 and up), $7 for military with ID at door, and free for ages 12 and under.
The show will feature over 30 Maryland boat dealers showcasing new boats and marine equipment, including sport fishing boats (and other silly types of boats for non-anglers). It will also include entertainment, food and beverages, free fishing seminars, The Fishing Pier, and plenty of free parking. Stay tuned for a full guide to the show in the PropTalk February issue.

Our Opens averaged around 80 boats a tournament, thanks for making theses Opens a fun yet competitive experience.
We count 4 of your 5 Open scores for the Team standings.
The top team for the 2022 Chester County Bass Master Upper Bay Open Series was Duke Nave and Steve Allender who accumulated 381 points in their best 4 of 5 tournaments.
Consistency was their hallmark as they recorded a Second, Third, Seventh and Eleventh as their top 4 TX finishes.
Their outstanding season earned each of them a $ 400 Challenger rain suit from Simms Fishing along with Championship plaques.

CCBM & Local Open Tournaments Info / October 29th CCBM Open Result...
Last post by Basscat7 - November 01, 2022, 03:27:38 PMChester County Bass Masters held their last of five Points Opens for the 2022 season on October 29th out of Anchor Marine in Northeast Maryland.
55 boats participated in the final points tournament of the year with a handful of Teams looking to finish as one of the top 6 teams for 2022.
Air temps at launch were around 40 with no wind. The tournament launched at 7:00 under sunny skies with a forecast high of 62.
The winds picked up around 9 am to 5 - 10 mph with a bluebird sky.
Water temps were in the 57 - 61 degree range depending on where you fished. Water color was a little off colored in some areas and muddy in a few.
Launch was on a falling tide, with low around 9:30 and high around 2:00 pm.
6 flights went out with the first flight due back at 3:00 and each additional flight of 10 boats due back ten minutes apart.
18 five fish limits were brought in.
24 Double Digit bags were weighed
16 bass over 4 pounds were weighed in.
3 bass over 5 pounds were weighed in.
6 cash places were paid, along with 21 sponsor prizes from Susquehanna Tackle, Rhino linings of Delaware, Dobyns Rods, Zee Bait Company, Steak & Main Restaurant, Eastern Marine of Newark, Nichols Lures, 13 Fishing, Cabelas - Pauls Plastering, Buff USA, Pro-Tec Boat Care Products, Harmony Fishing Tackle, Bass Pro Shops, Boomerang Tools, Smallmouth Crush, Hayabusa Hooks, Native Tungsten Weights, Hi Seas Line, Bass Cat, Simms, Venom Lures, Trailer Parts Superstore of Newark, Upper Bay outdoors, Buck Brook Alpacas, Black Rifle Coffee Company and Accu-Cull.
22 boats participated in $ 60 option pot which paid 3 spots.
The winning boat is eligible for the Power Pole Captains Cash and the T & H Marine contingency cash if they are signed up for those programs.

The next Chester County Open tournament of 2022 will be on Saturday, November 12th out of Anchor Marine.

55 boats participated in the final points tournament of the year with a handful of Teams looking to finish as one of the top 6 teams for 2022.
Air temps at launch were around 40 with no wind. The tournament launched at 7:00 under sunny skies with a forecast high of 62.
The winds picked up around 9 am to 5 - 10 mph with a bluebird sky.
Water temps were in the 57 - 61 degree range depending on where you fished. Water color was a little off colored in some areas and muddy in a few.
Launch was on a falling tide, with low around 9:30 and high around 2:00 pm.
6 flights went out with the first flight due back at 3:00 and each additional flight of 10 boats due back ten minutes apart.
18 five fish limits were brought in.
24 Double Digit bags were weighed
16 bass over 4 pounds were weighed in.
3 bass over 5 pounds were weighed in.

Recently I decided to have some fun with it by making a goofy channel, with a silly name. THIS IS NOT A SERIOUS PROJECT.
Right now I have an intro and a recent day on the Delaware posted, but I plan on including all the places/lakes I've traveled to, and some epic days/bags/fish.
