trim motor messed up

Hosed down my boat after the marsh creek tourney and seemed to have shoerted out my  trim motor. when i put it into position, 1 minute later it will raise by itself. any ideas?

Might be the power trim solenoid Justin.

Check the wire connections from the solenoids to the trim motor, they may be loose or corroded.

Solenoid should be around $ 30.00....

You have two solenoids, one for up and one for down. I would switch them and see if the problem is still there or if it becomes the opposite problem. That would tell you if it is the solenoid, but I doubt if it is the solenoid.
