That's because I was away all week, and no internet access to stir things up.  :rolleyes: 

OH, by the way ELI, I found Vegas (itself) HIGHLY OVER RATED.  But that's just me, I'd much rather be in a less Urban environment around people who speak ENGLISH.  I did find enjoyment and enlightenment outside of the City of Sin, however, so it wasn't a total loss.  LOSS, a bad - VERY BAD - word when used in reference to Vegas.  :rolleyes:  But now I've seen it, done it and didn't waste money on the tee shirt.  I did see some decent shows, but they were also OVERPRICED for what they provided. 
My final advice to anyone planning on going to Vegas - DO NOT choose to eat in any of the Casino resturants/bars, or purchase any adult beverages there.  Buy yourself a bottle or six-pack and keep it in your room and have your booze before dinner.  You'll save a few hundred $$$$ on booze alone, $7 drafts and $14 mixed drinks mount up fast.  Check out several of the really good "locals" resturants and you'll save a few hundred more, and get better food in the bargain.

If you gamble enough, you can eat and drink for free.  Of course how good, or lucky, a gambler you are depends on what that food and drink eventually "costs" you.

Yes Sean, guilty on both counts.  I don't (Casino) gamble, so no free drinks, and no free drinks with meals which  was what I really was referring to.  For the shows, I wanted prime seats and I got them.  I booked my entertainment directly through the Casino where the performance was.  Center section, front row for 3 shows.  While the show quality was good, the duration was short (75 - 90 minutes), which was my reason for saying they are overpirced.   Same with the food - quality was excellent, but ala carte dining makes the expense mount rapidly.  With drinks or bottle of wine a couple can easily spend $250 + for dinner.  Buffet is not my preference, but did try one at our Casion.  It was decent, seafood was fresh and the sushi really good, but that cost me $100 + which I thought was a bit steep for a buffet.

one of the first things we always do when arriving in vegas is to go by the liquor store and stock up on martini fixins and beer for the room.

Between coupons, which are everywhere, and half price ticket booth our trip was very cheap.  Top rated Steakhouses had half price coupons.  Zumanity by Cirque... even had half price tickets from the house.  No seats were bad.  Many hotels had free drink coupons and we only drink one or two anyway... 

Our trip was less than half of what I expected to pay...

Eli, my trip went the other way, cost me twice as much as I expected.  :undecided:  I have a funny (NOT) story of what happened to me at the Luxor, but it would take too much space, and also be too much of a testament to my (wife's) gullibility.
