What a great turnout for a summer Upper Bay event !

Thanks to all the anglers for coming out and also for taking care of the bass !

This was our 3rd of five Points Opens for the 2022 season.

The Top Five in the Championship points race is shaping up, but there are 2 Fall tournaments left on September 24 and October 29.
Still time for a lot of changes and teams to move into the top 5.  We count 4 of your 5 scores for the Year End top 5 prizes.

84 Teams attended this one, we missed some regulars who were on vacation and a few who could not get off work, it was humid and overcast but turned out to be a fantastic day for catching.

What a great field of Anglers, most of the best from the Region !

A little rain front moved thru the area Thursday into early Friday.
Wind was calm for tournament morning.
Air temps at launch were around 65 and humid.

The tournament launched at 5:30 under cloudy skies with a forecast high of 84.
Water temps were in the 80 -82 degree range depending on where you fished. Water color was fairly normal for this time of year.
Launch was on a falling tide with low around 7:00 am. and high around at 1:15 pm
Ten flights went out with the first flight due back at 2:30 and each additional flight of 10 boats due back ten minutes apart.
Cloud cover dominated and the rain held off until the last 40 minutes of weigh in.
--------------------------------------
48 five fish limits were brought in.
  6 teams had 4 fish
14 bass over 4 pounds were weighed in.
5 bass over 5 pounds were weighed in.

9 cash places were paid, along with 20 sponsor prizes from Susquehanna Tackle, Rhino linings of Delaware, Dobyns Rods, Zee Bait Company, Steak & Main Restaurant, Eastern Marine of Newark, Nichols Lures, 13 Fishing, Cabelas - Pauls Plastering, Buff USA, Pro-Tec Boat Care Products, Harmony Fishing Tackle, Bass Pro Shops, Boomerang Tools, Smallmouth Crush, Hayabusa Hooks, Native Tungsten Weights, Hi Seas Line, Bass Cat, Simms, Venom Lures, Trailer Parts Superstore of Newark, Upper Bay outdoors, Buck Brook Alpacas, Black Rifle Coffee Company and Accu-Cull.

36 boats participated in $ 60 option pot which paid 3 spots.

The winning boat is eligible for the Bass Cat Quest Cash, Power Pole Captains Cash and the T & H Marine contingency cash if they are signed up for those programs.

Thanks to everyone who came out to fish, we and our sponsors appreciate the support and friendly competition.

The next Chester County Open tournament of 2022 will be on Saturday, September 24th out of Anchor Marine.
