fishinjim, I never thought of it that way . . . so if I have extra tackle bags I guess I need a boat for them?

Jim - if you know pretty much where it is . . . . . .  anyone jumps on me about sunken rods, they die . . . . .  I have an aquaview camera.  Should you wish to borrow it, let me know as I can take it to the Potomac.  I am seriously planning on taking it to Kerr . . . .  watch it, you've all been warned.

lol.  your catching on.  btw, many bags you have around the house could be classified as tackle bags. don't limit yourself to bags bought only at bass pro and cabelas.
and the circle begins...
a boat opens up doors to all kinds of twisted lines of reasoning.
are you sure the above mentioned tackle bags will hold enough tackle to properly cover all circumstances on the water?

boogles,
my guess is that the rod and real have either drifted off or been caught by someone else by now, but i might take you up on that offer.  either that or we could work out a deal where i trade you the gps coordinates for a avid rod.  you can keep whatever you find.

either way, if i'm on kerr with you whatever day you decide to go treasure hunting, i'll help ya with the hunt.

It pays to be an optimist.  Even if you are wrong, you are happy about it.
