It's a shame they have degraded these shows to what they have become...10 % fishing and the rest a mishmash of home products ( get your magic chamois ), beef jerky sellers, etc

Timonium was all bass fishing 20 years ago, now they might  have 3 tackle dealers at the entire show selling retail no less.
The others have turned into more hunting/lodging shows.
I'll go to Timonium just for something to do in January and see some long time guys I talk to every year down there.

Golf is for guys whose wives won't let them buy a bass boat

Bass Fishing is like Church, many attend - Few get it.

I bought my first bass boat at Timonium.  That was 7 years ago and it was decent then.  Had several of the boat manufacturers there and I got to look at several that I was interested in.  Tackle selection was also pretty good then.  Haven't been back for about 3 years, as it's fallen off so much.  Harrisburg isn't worth the trip either, mostly hunting now.  Never did think much of the Ft. Washington show either.  Of all that were mentioned, which one would POSSIBLY be worth the time?

Don't know how long you have been going, but if you think 7 years ago was decent ya should have seen it way back.......nothing but bass fishing, that was before they had boats at the show.
Shame it will never get back to that level.

You're right on most not worth going.......Timonium still has the largest bass fishing  part, and they still have decent speakers on various types of bass fishing if you like to sit and listen to some seminars.
