Caught 6 today, no big ones, lost 2 more at the boat.   Got a late start and caught them all throughout the day.  The last two came on two successive casts right before I quit.

Also hooked 3 stripers.   The first one was really big.  Gave me two head shakes, took off for deeper water, and I figure a gill plate cut my line.  I couldn't budge it.   Put a 19" and a 25" in the freezer.

Louie was out also, said he caught 4.  The first two were small, don't know about the last two.

Lou was reading water temps between 48 and 51.  I was reading between 51 and 54.  Don't know who's sensor is off.

You were down there Monday after 3 days of cold rain, surface temps drop quickly in those circumstances.
Temps by Saturday after a few days of Sun will be back in the 56-59 range.

I wasn't real surprised.  We'll see what the temps are tomorrow after a couple of sunny warmer days.

Off the weather buoy at the mouth of the Susquehanna today the temp was 57 - 58.8.

Wow, that was quick.   Flowing water sometimes warms quicker, but I bet it wouldn't be off by more than a degree or two.

No, have not been out for a few weeks.  Water temps off the buoys.

Not enough of them to make a difference.  But there were quite a few other bass boats out there pre-fishing today.
