Golf is for guys whose wives won't let them buy a bass boat

Bass Fishing is like Church, many attend - Few get it.

Eli

It pays to be an optimist.  Even if you are wrong, you are happy about it.

It should be called the KVD Classic. WTF its gettin down right boring. I think this guy may have gills.

Eli

That VanDam guy is pretty good at this, ya think...

I love to watch KVD throw crankbaits.  On days 1 and 2, the majority of his fish came on a SK lipless and some unknown, likely custom, crankbait.

Eli

They weren't cranking the lipless, they were yanking them out of the grass and letting them fall back and yanking them again...

Eli,

I never said they were cranking the lipless, I said they were throwing crankbaits (KVD is primarily using a lipless and a mid range).  And yes, they were ripping them and letting them drop.  The SK Red Eye Shad is evidently supposed to do a flutter fall like a dying shad.  I have not been able to replicate this action while throwing the same lure.  In any event, gotta' love the crankbait bite.

All I can say is that KVD pays more money for his resources at these lakes than the other chumps because, he always knows where these fih are for some reason. So just think tere are guys that he is paying that are better than him. you all didnt think he finds these spots by his self did ya? Its a good show though.

You think he knows more after gettign info on this lake than the local pros?  Heck Duckett didnt even weigh two fish (granted he did blow out his motor on Day 1, but he got in his brother's boat and still couldnt weigh in more than the one dink).

You are just naturally a conspiracy theorist :)
