just got the reel yesterday. man she is sweet. i did the math and i saved 180$ on this all together.

reel-$190- on sale for 120-after rebate 70
rod-180$- on sale for 120 shipped.

Looked at Cabela's on Saturday. My son Dave was buying a new reel and had a $50 gift certificate to spend. He was going to buy a Cabela's reel for something like $120. I told him to check the Quantum web site. He found a rebate for $50. The TE1171PT reels (top of the line) were on sale for $129. So after the sale, the gift certificate and the rebate, he's getting that reel for about $30 plus tax and shipping. SWEET deal!
