The last Chester County Open of the season on Saturday Nov 9th found a low temp of 28 degrees waiting for the anglers at the Anchor Marine ramp. Fortunately the winds held off until the sun was able to warm the air temps into the 40's, enough to keep the ice off the rod guides and ditch the gloves.

22 Teams launched with air temps around 30 and water temps at 50 degrees, light cloud cover and 5 mph winds that eventually picked up to 10 - 15.

The bass were scattered and only 7 limits were brought to the scales for the 2:30 weigh in, including 3 bags over 19 pounds, excellent weights for the Upper Bay the past few weeks.

5 cash places were paid, along with 2 prize packs from sponsor products.

First place Cash went to Mike Piccolo.  Fishing solo for the tournament Mike brought in 5 healthy Northeast River bass weighing 20.62 , surpassing the 2nd place team by just under a pound.
Mike's bag was anchored by a 5.89 lb largemouth, the 3rd biggest bass brought to the scales for the tournament.

Second place money was won by the team of Guy Lombardo and JR Schoenan who carried a heavy bag to the scales, weighing 5 bass for 19.74 to miss out on first by 0.88 lbs.
Guy and JR's bag was topped out by the Tournament big bass, a beautiful 6.03 Upper Bay largemouth earning the team the Lunker cash payout.

Third place prize money went to the team of Jerry Gerlach and Mark Ely bringing in 5 nice fish for another outstanding bag of 19.08 lbs, a 4.85 bass along with several more in the same size range had them within striking distance of the lead.

4th place coin was earned by the team of Ben Cluster and Corbin Gotwalt who brought 4 bass to the scale for 14.42 lbs, a solid 3.6 lb average fish.

5th place funds went to Marty Osborne and Dave Kyle bringing in a limit of largemouth for 12.75 lbs.

Prizes included a pair of Sea Star Polarized fishing glasses and a Bass Cat hat were won by the youngest competitor in the field Justin Harant fishing with Ron Lutz who brought 4 bass to the scales for 8.55 lbs.

A pair of T-2 Livewell vents were won by Rick DiIenno weighing in 5 bass for 8.43 Lbs.
